Job Summary:
The Behavior Consultant utilizes discretion and independent judgment in carrying out job duties and goals of the organization.
The Behavior Consultant develops, delivers, and monitors individualized applied behavior analytic programs for individuals with developmental disabilities. The goal of our program is to improve the quality of life for each individual and their family members. Behavior Consultants are responsible for the performance of registered behavior technicians (RBTs) and the facilitation of skill generalization by training parents and other caretakers.

Education and/or Experience:
Non-BCBA Position: Must be enrolled in ABA Masters program.
A minimum of two years experience in related field and case experience with children with ASD and other development disabilities. Must have supervisor recommendation prior to applying for position.
Physical Demands:
Ability to run, stand, sit, stoop, crawl, kneel, reach, push, and lift a child weighing 50 pounds; normal visual, vocal & hearing acuity; use of a computer; ability to travel via automobile.
Background Checks and/or Licensing:
Must be at least 18 years old; criminal background check; reference checks; provide a negative TB test; provide immunization records; education verification; current drivers license and proof of valid auto insurance.
Other Requirements:
Must have reliable means of transportation; availability to work a minimum of 40 hours per week; and have access to a computer with knowledge of internet, e-mail and Microsoft Office applications.

Description
The Scheduler is responsible for the daily changes to client and staff schedules and communicating this information to clinical staff members and families. This position requires someone with great analytical skills, organizational skills, attention to detail, high energy level, quick thinker and problem solver, has a sense of urgency and a good memory. The Scheduler role is primarily responsible for the overall analysis of resource allocation and mitigation of schedule conflicts. This role includes forward-looking planning, all toward the objective of providing 1:1 ABA services with the paraprofessional and client. The Scheduler will interact with multiple departments to ensure scheduling needs are met. Additional responsibilities include supporting the Finance department and Human Resources Department with employee related issues and disciplinary actions as needed for timekeeping/billing and attendance.
Qualifications
• Receive cancellation calls from clients/families and staff.
• Update the cancellation log based on calls received or disseminate to assistant scheduler.
• Assign clinical staff (i.e. BTs, floaters, consultants) to fill shifts that are planned in advance as well as on the day of. Communicate these fills as needed or disseminate to assistant scheduler.
• Connecting staff to clients as needed.
• Send out “dailies” for NCB, SIH, and KALA, which are email notifications to departments as changes occur, to let them know who has called out and what the replacement plan is for the day.
• Manage “Open Shifts” log across all departments and assign existing/new paras based on priority of need.
• Submit the “Open Shifts” log to the CEO and Senior Clinical Director.
• Create and send out the “Master Schedules” for all departments after collaborating with the assistant scheduler and department directors.
• Adjust employee schedules in the scheduling software program as changes occur.
• Enter PTO and PSL into scheduling program.
• Manage the LOA process (approval or denials will be communicated to the requester within 1 week of submitting the request) by setting up calendar events, verifying approvals, and finding coverage if necessary.
• Manage the billing error/incident log and send to director
• Assist/Mentor assistant scheduler in scheduling duties as needed.
• Responsible for basic knowledge in HR/Scheduling requirements (e.g. when to take lunch) as to schedule staff appropriately
• Pull and distribute client cancellation log to directors 1 instance per month
• Send attendance reports to HR
• Other duties as assigned.
