Bradshaw Location - Click here for Center Based Program (Natomas)

Advance Kids has been providing quality, intensive Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) center-based programs for young children ages 18 months to 5 years since April 2007. Our center based program provides early intensive services in a convenient program model for all families. The staff at the Bradshaw center provides a warm and secure environment for children to learn and grow. Service delivery and programming in the center based program mirrors the service delivery in a home setting and allows for the generalization of targeted skills. Parents receive training and consultation through monthly in-home sessions and meetings with their behavior consultant. Monthly communication and language consultations are also available to our behavior consultants from our licensed speech and language pathologist to supplement each child's individualized program.

Our facility is tailored toward young children with colorful murals throughout the learning areas and individualized rooms for each child participating in the program. To ensure a safe learning environment, several safety measures are built into the program. These precautions include:

The center based program provides a unique learning environment for children diagnosed with autism, with one on one instruction supplemented with numerous opportunities for socialization across:

We provide an ABA program that prepares young children for integration into school, home and community. Our curriculum and teaching methods address skill repertoires that prepare a child for success in these environments. This teaching process begins as soon as a child is enrolled in the program, and specific learning targets and teaching strategies are modified as the child approaches school age.

Hours of Operation

Our center based program is open Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Children's therapy hours may occur for any period of time during hours of operation, as decided by the clinical team. Once a child's total treatment hours have been approved by the team, scheduling of the implementation of those hours will occur between parents, regional center, school district (as appropriate by age) and Advance Kids. Advance Kids will attempt to accommodate parent's schedules within reason.

CENTER BASED PROGRAM (NATOMAS)

Our center based program provides early intensive behavioral treatment programs for children diagnosed on the autism spectrum. The district center based programs are located on a public school campus, are convenient for all families and provides a warm and secure environment for children to learn and grow. Through collaboration with the regional center and the public school district, Advance Kids provides comprehensive early intervention services to children from age of diagnosis to provide an unparalleled learning environment for EIBT, on-site speech therapy and occupational therapy and collaboration with DIS providers (e.g. adaptive PE). Advance Kids currently teams with Natomas Unified School District and River Delta Unified School District to occupy classrooms located on public school campuses which have been redesigned to meet the individual and unique learning needs of children diagnosed with autism. A distinguishing component of the district center based program is that children receive all therapies designated on their IEP at a single location, parent communication and participation through monthly in-home sessions and bi-weekly meetings to support generalization.

Advance Kids has collaborated with the school districts to provide a unique range of school placement options that facilitate generalization and socialization. The district center based program supports children's participation in school placements based on the child's individual needs and school readiness with a continuum of options including full inclusion preschool and kindergarten classroom settings and special education preschool and kindergarten placements.
